Augusta Invitational: Saturday Recap:

The talent was in the building all day today, and the level of competition showed it! With everybody playing their last pool play games and beginning bracket play, games were intense from the beginning of the day. We had games going on at 6 locations, including Evans Middle and High, Lakeside High, Augusta Christian Schools, Grovetown High, and Curtis Baptist school.
With over 40 of the games on Saturday being decided by 10 points or less, one was very capable of seeing a good game. While there were many impressively talented players on the court today, the top performance came from Jasmine Robinson, a rising senior playing for Team Miracles AAU program. Although her team lost, Robinson's game was nothing short of impressive, scoring a tournament high 42 points against Team Legacy. Only standing at 5'3, Robinson was able to use her quickness and nice array of moves to do as she pleased on the court. A Troy University commit, she is without a doubt one of the top girls in the state of Georgia.
Many teams competed tough today, but there can only be one champion! Sunday is shaping up to be a big one, and we cannot wait to see which team steps up to take the crown. You can follow us on Twitter @PQsports and also view our website for the latest scores and updates!
